What could be the luxury tax on that car??? Amazing that only the taxes can get you a pretty decent new car

Well, if history repeats itself, the initial purchase price might look like a lot of money now but the ZR1's have done nothing but appreciate over time. $401K might turn out to be $800K at some point, who knows. But at the very least I think it will hold its value. Looking at this car sitting in your garage/shop everyday, and taking her for a rip once in a blue moon, would be worth it. So....it's not a terrible place to park a bunch of money, if you can afford to do so.

Somehow I managed to convince myself that spending $500K on a car was a wise financial move. Don't ask me for any investment advice....LOL.
