New from Vancouver Island

Hi All,

I am new......of course. I have just purchased my first Corvette, a 1996 Collector Edition Convertible.....LT4 6 spd. What a great car....I love it!
It is a Canadian Car and is somewhat unique.....not many LT4 Canadian Convertibles out there.

Looking forward to showing it around the island and summer cruising...

I have one small problem....the battery cover on my c4 has needs to be replaced...the access door to get at the battery....i think i need a new one....the bottom screw catch somehow broke....when they changed the battery....last owner...just wondering if anyone knows where i might find one.

Hi Rusmac -- no doubt you know Steamer (Rob) and his white C6 -- I'm thinking he steered you here -- kudos Rob! .. and glad to have you along Rusmac......
I was out there on the island last summer where Steamer found an exceptional C4 .. my '94 Polo Green 'vert. It's all but brand new and is a great find. Steamer even helped me drive it home here in Cambridge.

Congrats on your find -- she looks like a beauty too.

I'm looking forward to hearing all about your new ride and seeing more pics.
