I think I’m figuring out this sites resident chit disturber/funny guy. LolThat's just dumb...
I hear the trade in value drops 30% as soon as you drive it off the lot...
Not sure if anyone had mention to get the Soler Throttle controller.I think I’m figuring out this sites resident chit disturber/funny guy. Lol
In Alberta this is almost mandatory. They use very rocky sand on the roads and it isn't cleaned up until well into our short "summer car season". I do it to all my vehicles. My 2017 Titan (personal truck) still looks great while my 2023 F150 (company truck with no PPF) is pretty rashed up already. I had it on the front and lowers on my Hellcat (sold to buy Vette) as well.Alarm Bells went off when you mentioned "PPF" lol...
Before you put the link in there I thought you were making a funny...Not sure if anyone had mention to get the Soler Throttle controller.
Get them through many of the aftermarket suppliers here in Ontario or in the US for security and quicker throttle response.

It's not recommended to use cruise control. You want to vary the rpm as much as possible during break in . And avoid engine braking. Also it's probably a good idea to keep it in manual mode so it doesn't go into cylinder deactivation.Got the car home yesterday. PPF is done and I have a bunch of stuff on order...front screens, rock guards (mud flaps), lift pucks.
The only "owners manual" is the myChevy app pages and it's a PITA to read on my phone. The Chevy manuals website doesn't have one for 2026 yet. While I assume 99% will be the same as previous years, a lot of the interior electronics stuff is different.
Waaaay to many tech whizmos....I am disappointed that you have to sign into Google in order to store radio stations. I plunked a USB with music on it into the slot in the center console...can't seem to get it to play the songs in random order. Dumb. Wants to use Apple carplay in order to play tunes off my phone. Dumb.
I was sure I've read multiple times that the motor is limited until 800 km. On my drive home yesterday I did at one point gently push the throttle and definitely went past 4500 rpm. Going to be a difficult time getting 800 km without doing long drives or using cruise control...basically Chevy wants you to city drive it the first 800 km....and I don't live in the city.
Good point. Z mode keeps it from doing that too doesn't it?Also it's probably a good idea to keep it in manual mode so it doesn't go into cylinder deactivation.
Yes. If you have selected track engine mode in the Z settings. In track mode it will never go into cylinder deactivation . Easiest thing to do is simply press the M button. I have mine in manual mode 95% of the time regardless , even if it's in Tour , Sport or any other except Weather.Good point. Z mode keeps it from doing that too doesn't it?
