New C8, what are the "must dos"?

As mentioned in the title, what are the first couple of things an owned should do to the new ride? I have the car getting PPF on the front now. I see that finer bug screens for the front AC condenser grills is a popular mod. I also like the idea of rock guards/mud flaps. I see Chevy is very proud of these components in the accessory catalogue. Any issue with ones that are 1/8 the price from Amazon? Any preferences?

I guess a guy will also need pucks in order to use a jack. Are there additional lifting locations so a jackstand can be used? Seems silly if there are only 4 lifting points...not everyone has a lift in the garage. Well, I don't. On my Hellcat I lifted it on the pinch welds (which was acceptable) then supported it with jackstands on the lifting points underneath.

I would suggest the first thing to do is follow the recommended break in procedure if you haven't already. There shouldn't be much different in the 26' version

The engineers that developed the vehicle, you would think, know quite a bit about maintenance requirements regardless of the opinion that it's only to benift dealers service departments .

I wonder if they all originated at the same address in Guangzhou, PRC , lol. I think I payed $29.95 at Amazon.ca.
 
You should considered ordering a QuickJack if you do your own oil changes etc.. Super convient especially for myself that only has a single car garage. 1/2 price of a lift.
Select the right one with the extension for the C8 or like I did added my own extension jacking point/pads for proper reach.
As for Amazon, some items will be of value but their mudflaps doesn't give me the width that I wanted despite their descriptions.
 
lol.....There's still a few of us left that remember a time before companies looked at what we were doing here on the forum and said.... "There's a fortune to be made building and selling these to flush Corvette owners. .... If you crawl under your car lots to look, or don't own a drill or a wrench, maybe buying the fancy colour matched aluminum ones appeal to you, but mine have been on for 11 years and work just fine...

I made a set these for my C6. Worked great for 10 years when I sold it and they left still on the car. But they are a little thicker than the ones you buy. I had to trim them down as the circumferance was larger that my jack at the time could hold in the cup. But great though. Good job Rruuff!!

the ring fits up into the slot and you turn it 90 degrees. Not sure about these in the pic but mine have a nut and washer underneath so I can tighten the fit as necessary so it doesn't loosen up and turn in place. Much like the ones they sell now
