Riley and a few others told me about this forum so I had to come and join! If its anything like the amazing people I met at my first event in Ponoka it has to be a great site as well. Look forward to meeting alot more like minded enthusiast's. One week into ownership of my '09 c6 3lt base coupe and I still find myself sneaking out to the garage just to stare at the silver bullet. Love the car more than any that have parked in that spot before it haha. Have a great day everyone and thanks for inviting me into your corner of the world....we all know these cars LOVE corners!!! Cheers

Tinman, welcome to the forum. Really nice looking car you have.

Enjoy the place, lots of entertainment and knowledge. :canada:

Hey Tinman! Welcome to the forum! It was great to meet you on Saturday! Let us know how that Corsa sounds compared to the stock exhaust and of course, if you're looking for anything else or have questions, we're all ears.

Thanks Riley I will let you know for sure as soon as they are on. Great meeting you too!

Welcome to the forum Tinman... It was a pleasure to meet you and Jessica in Ponoka .... For those of you that weren't at the Ponoka meet, this new Corvette owner could have walked over burning coals cause he was so pumped on Saturday that his feet never touched the ground... And this is something that brings a smile to all our faces because eveyone of us can relate to that.....:Woohoo:

They sound AMAZING. Road test results are AS ADVERTISED....no drone what so ever. But...when you get on the go pedal the symphony of sound comes to life in a big way. Around town is as quiet as a mouse. Best of all worlds. I can't thank Bearly Flying enough for the use of the lift and the much appreciated help. If anyone is wondering about time to install...having never been under one of these before...an hour is easily doable and a good chunk of that was from my ocd wanting perfect alignment haha. Of course we did a test drive to gain temps and reseat all surfaces. Then we retorqued everything. Also removed H pipe to aid axleback install. Corsa sports look and sound amazing.

Quick torque reference for anyone interested..
H pipe to header: 18 foot pounds
H pipe to overaxle pipe: 37 foot pounds
Overaxle pipe to corsa muffler: 37
Sway bar upper bolt: 49 foot pounds
Sway bar lower bolt/nut: 70 foot pounds
I also learned today that my axle nuts need to be 151 foot pounds with red loctite. I pulled center cap off rims, put 34mm deep socket in there...and could turn socket by hand. What next lol. I did take a sound clip btw..but can't post it as I get a wrong format msg. Its in mp4 from my samsung phone.
