How do you like your Eray - do you have any regrets, wish you had gone the Z06 route...? I'm contemplating the purchase of a 2025 leftover great price $10K off MSRP. However, as much as the money saving is great it's still A LOT of $$$ and I want to be sure I'm making the right move. I currently own (and will be keeping for now) a 2025 Z51 and have had numerous Corvettes in the past including two Z06's so I'm familiar with the lineup just not this as it's way outside the realm of what's come before. Appreciate your honest and sincere response - thanks

If you plan on being a regular at the track, buy a Z06.
If you desire a level of 'noise', as can only be generated by the flat-plane crank engine, buy a Z06.
For all else, buy the E-Ray.

No, I do not have any regrets in my choice.

I got rid of my other one and made myself this new screen. Opening is approximately 9/64" which imo is a good compromise between protection and air flow. I don’t forsee much bugs will get through unless you are a fruit 🪰 and I am parked. If any bug manage to get pass the screen, good navigation on that 🪰? lol..

With all of the experience you are getting perhaps you can design and market a “ better mouse trap “ …….always room for competition in most businesses. ;)

Although the average age of a C8 owner has dropped from the C7 most are approaching the point of hearing degradation . Might explain all the interest in louder after market exhaust systems, lol .
The average age of a C8 Corvette owner is about 54 years old, which represents a significant drop—about seven years younger—compared to the previous C7 generation, where the average was 61. The C8 has been particularly successful at attracting buyers under 35, making it the youngest demographic for Corvette ownership in the car’s history.
I must admit though that although my hearing is very good, had it tested actually, I would still like more rumble . Just can’t see spending what it costs to get the one I’d want being retired and a pauper, lol . Not to mention frugal .

Maybe we can work on that new mouse trap idea together and hopefully get our ZR1Xs that way?
