Time to get those rock guards for the side radiators.
Mine are on a delivery truck right now.
I bought them through ACS Composites, although there are a few other suppliers.
Expensive for a bit of mesh and a few screws, right?
Still, those intakes are large enough for a sizeable critter to get into and who knows how much damage that could cause.

$90.39 Amazon.ca . I have their guards for the front and they are absolutely fine.

I saw those before and was put off by the Engineering, or lack thereof.
Zip ties?
I may be wrong, but everything else I have bought through ACS has been very good quality and fit.
I'm more comfortable paying a bit too much for a quality product than getting a deal on something 'less'.
Hopefully they live up to my expectations.

The ones for the front came with mounting hardware, same as the much more expensive ones. They are also of pretty substantial material, quite rigid. Nice finish. Pain to install but it’s one and done.

Not the best fitment but the $ is right. I am attaching a finer screen with it for even better protection. Will see how it all work once installed.

The finer screen will reduce cooling.
If you are not tracking and don't live in Death Valley, it will be fine for the extra profection? I think it will just take a tad longer to cool to normal temp once you get moving IF any? We are not talking of totally sealing it off. Air flow is still happening. Each has to make their own choices.

So I attached the ss mesh on my cheapo Amazon screen. I am not going to add this on the driver side because the rad is hidden behind the fan.
That doesn’t really look fine enough to block too much air . Should be fine. Hard to install those pieces ?

These front splash guards/mud flaps did the job of stopping stone from front tires from being launched into my radiators. Got them on Amazon. I think they are good quality but I’ve never seen the ACS Canadian ones in person. Mine are from Bilfaro, never heard of them but they seem to make a lot of vette stuff .

That’s an instal video but there are comparison pics videos in the middle of the video to show how much more of the tire it covers than stock mud flaps.
