My dealer forgot to replace the transmission filter on the first service

Yes the dealer made a mistake by not ordering edge red brake calipers with the red mist car. They cost $4000 to buy through parts so I would be looking for a set elsewhere as the paint is extremely expensive for painting your existing ones yourself.
I am double checking on the 2025 models to confirm the DCT first free filter change along with 2 free oil changes are still included.

I'm not sure what red Edge red looks like but red is only one of the choices there's also yellow I don't know maybe I look at too many Ferraris it just seems to me that whatever they're red they put yellow
Consider getting your calipers powder coated. Might save some $

I had my C8 first maintenance service done in June when I was still in California, and this month I just moved to BC with my car.

Today, I received a call from my California dealer, says when I had first maintenance, they forgot to replace the transmission filter.

Now I will have to go to local dealers in Canada and hope they will make it up for free. But I also heard the warranty isn't covered when you left the USA, so I am a bit worried.

I got to say I really appreciated my dealer in California trying to let me know and make it up, but also kind of feeling screwed up. 😥
If ya can afford the C8, likely the oil filter will work within your budget, hopefully.

I've asked several dealers in Vancouver they all say I have to pay for the filter or the labor maybe not the filter but the labor to install it
Ok, I have checked with GM and for the owners in BC if your dealer says your first DCT filter is not covered you need to have them reference the latest home office letter pertaining to 2025 model year Corvettes numbered 2024-601-R01.
It says for 2025 Corvettes you have up to 36 months to get your first free DCT filter change, and you also have two free oil changes with your car.
If you change your DCT filter before 12,000 km, you ARE STILL REQUIRED to change your DCT filter again at 12,000 km.
Once you have used your free services, a GMPP maintenance plan can be purchased to cover additional DCT and oil changes along with the transmission fluid change that is required at 3 years (from your delivery date) or 72,000 km whichever comes first.
CCF members have access to GMPP warranty and maintenance plans at employee pricing and I have the electronic brochures covering all of the services offered that can be sent to you. If your interested let me know.
Scott
As a footnote here, this latest home office letter pertains to anywhere in Canada if your dealer isn't willing to give you your first DCT filter change for free.
