The 1st L I bought from the dealer was $26. I then bought from these guys for $13 so if your buying a case or 2, it's worth it to me!

The price will continue to go down. Much like the Mobil 1 5-30 which was the cure-all end-all, only oil to use 6 years ago, you can get on sale these days for just over $5 a litre. Changing the name from ESP to Supercar no doubt was a marketing strategy to hold the price high somewhat longer with the purists.

guess so. When I 1st showed up at his shop he asked me "what do you want to pay?". Not expecting that I just threw out 13 and he said sure. So no harm in asking. He probably gets them for $4/L....

Got mine from Walmart.com on the USA side. About $13/L CAD including free shipping. ( to my US address). You ON, QC border folk can do that too.

So too can the 1 guy in the maritimes who owns a C8.

You know there is no law that says you have to use that oil. The manual simply states you should use Dexos 2 oils.

Yes. But none of those oils say 'SUPERCAR'. Amazing what only a name change can do for marketing....lol...

So I checked with my local Esso bulk dealer. He had 4 cases in stock of Supercar and sold them to me for $77.50 plus gst per case. That is $12.92 plus gst per quart. I am good to go for summer 2023.
