We've launched a simplified Member Map system which can be found here:
Member Map

Or under Member->Member Map in the menu.

It uses Location and IP lookups to try to map you so results may vary.

You can opt out of it by going to your account settings->privacy->Opt Out of Maps checkbox.

It's going to take a day or so to update everyone's location in batches so be patient.

If I was actually there I would be able to tell you. It is just where the ISP the vessel uses is located. I am actually off the West coast of Africa and there is certainly a lot less snow here.

Works for me on Google after it asked to share my location. Explorer had not asked for that. Older software I guess.
Naturally all members would have to authorized location sharing for this to work well.
Right now it is pretty barren around my area
