No, there comes a point where it's not worth it to the dealership and selling below cost doesn't appeal to many of them.

They don't. People Cam is right, stop comparing dealerships in the US that individually get MORE CARS THAN CANADA as a comparison for discounts!

USA has more cars and more buyers, but even with limited production in Canada the buyers market is limited because pricing so high here so I find the situation is basically the same. Corvette's that get huge discounts in Canada still often sit cause the overall price is to high for the car then adding luxury tax keeps people away.
