Key fob non functionning

Look at your manual on how to program your fob. I think it needs to plug into your glove box area the manual will tell you.

If it is a brand name & brand new replacement battery ...
I just did this with a garage door opener remote and eventually discovered I put the darn battery in upside down
So ... just mentioning as a slight knudge for you to verify that this did not happen for you
If double checked ... then you will need to try the re-program procedure that should be outlined in your manual.

try it in the slot in the glove box, you will know if the if it is recognise by the car

Wait til you forget the keys are on the roof or trunk. Then drive to work and realize your an idiot and have to drive back slowly scanning the road for something shiny.

Close the door with the fob inside and the horn honks. Drive 100km away from the fob and it doesn't make a peep. Now ya know lolAnd you would know this how Canuck?

Fob in coat pocket, warm late afternoon. Took coat off at 7-11 on Airport road leaving airport. Coat in trunk, munchies in hand and voila, I sit and wait for locksmith!!
