Jogons Carbon Fiber - C8 - Interest?

Funny, I can't warn another mod!
The phrase “the pot calling the kettle black” originates from a 1620 English translation of Miguel de Cervantes’ novel Don Quixote, where the frying pan says to the kettle, “Avaunt, black-brows,” referring to both being blackened by soot from cooking over a fire. This idiom highlights hypocrisy—accusing someone of a fault you share yourself. Earlier, Shakespeare expressed a similar idea in Troilus and Cressida (1602) with “the raven chides blackness”. By the late 1600s, the phrase evolved into the form we use today, with William Penn’s 1682 work providing a close modern wording. The imagery comes from cast-iron pots and kettles turning black from soot when used over open flames.:Topicclosed:

When I used the code it gave me the 15% off and offered free shipping
while Express shipping was $55.
I am presuming free shipping is Canada Post, not for me.
I didn't finish the order.

Even shipping companies can screw up though. I returned $500.00 receiver to Amazon through Purolator and it's been sitting at their Scarborough sorting facility for 2 weeks now. Presumed lost (or in a workers media room) and I have to wait another week to get my money back.

@Jack Raccoon! LOOK what just arrived ! The final pieces of the Carbon Fiber puzzle !!!!! Rear Diffuser, SideSkirts & Front Lip (ADRO Designs Custom PRE-REG)

I ordered a set of door speaker covers. I have the OEM interior carbon
fibre package and it makes the speaker covers look out of place.
I'm told they are a bit lighter than the stock ones so it should count as a mod.
Not until it passes the raccoon sniff test! ;)

So, 4 hours all in .. which included a chat on the phone with a fine gentlemen from London Ontario, and 2 Zoom calls.

Difficulty from 1-10 (10 being hardest) ... I'd say a 7. It did require modifying the brackets for the 2 sensors, as well as drilling 2 holes inside so the corners were tight using nut/bolt/lockwasher/loctite

It looks super awesome ! (At least to me ;) )

Hi all,
I just picked up my 2025 C8 Stingray-R
The front lower air splitter and side skirts are plastic. Having my car wrapped in Xpel and the guy told me he couldn’t to the lower air splitter and skirts bc they are plastic. Worth investing in CF and getting wrapped?
Can some one give me a rough price point on the parts?

First off, welcome and congrats on the car. It’s not real until you share pictures !

I mean asking me if it’s worth getting CF is like asking P Diddy if you should buy some baby oil 🤣

I’ll send some links and thoughts tomorrow. Numerous options for sure. Just watching the hockey game which is heading to overtime now. Can’t focus 🤓

Are you coming out as P Diddy? 😄

Complete ! I’m so happy with the Carbon Fiber … truly transformed the car. I will say however it would a significant undertaking to get it all ordered , shipped and installed. The front number and splitter alone yesterday took 14 hours as it required a lot of modification for the cameras to fit properly amongst some other things. It was a 9/10 difficulty for certain and required patience I didnt even know I had.

All PPF'd (the CF parts) , Ceramic Coated ..... But now I’m done ….. now we drive and enjoy !
