It means absolutely nothing what others are paying unless they are in the same community as you.
All insurance companies work off actuaries which are determined by many things, but one large thing is the area you live in.
Markham one of the highest and Uxbridge is one of the lowest.
You should shop around to different insurers.

Driving record, yearly mileage and driving experience plays a factor as well. A 20 year old vs. a 45 year will pay different premiums.

I'll add that "full coverage" also doesn't mean much.

What someone else considers full coverage is not what I consider full coverage.

That’s funny all these prices. When I call around like CAA, Dejardins, TD, Belair, etc. they are all $2,300 apples to apples. Based on $109,000. 2 mill, rental, 4 year no depreciation, $500 deductible. Multi vehicle discount. Clean driving record for the past 22 years no tickets touch wood. 60 years old. Living in Muskoka. Never had a claim. Sudbury Insurance being the broker and Intact is the insurer. I pay $1,354 and I get back $422 when stored from Nov. to May.
So I can’t see how these people are getting it for $800 to $1,000.
Please list the company and broker.

Intact is my insurer. $1100, $500 deductible, in my 60's, clean record, about $400 off during storage so net is around $700. Stratford area.
2023 Ram Limited and 2024 Rav 4 Limited , both $1100 +/- , intact too. House and cottage all with Intact. 3 boats with Aviva as Intact , trying to remember here, don't offer marine insurance. Could be wrong, maybe Intact too expensive for Marine

TD online.

TD online.
Definitely under $1000 with tax for 12 mos quoted by each of TD Insurance and La Personal with a $1000 deductible for a $125 K build...next on the list. I'm 63, live in Montreal and had a windshield claim in November 2023. TD won't insure without the Tag protection whereas La Personal will offer additional discount if the car has Tag...good luck!

I got TD insurance two weeks ago and no Tag required . Depends on vehicle thefts in your area to a great degree.
