In Bowling Green to see my Z06 being built

I think it would be so cool to actually see your car coming together on the assembly line.

Enjoy the experience.

You mean less than one days production....If we are lucky we hit 50-52 LOL
No that, but out of the 50 to 52 (not sure if anyone can confirm actual total yet) how many ordered the Z07 package which is essentially a track car. Those tires will not last long on most streets or highways, the rough roads will ruin them faster then most would think. One of my friends who has one that was to be build this week is already concerned as he doesn't want to drive the highway from Winnipeg to Regina to compete in an autocross event. He asking around if anyone is taking a truck and can bring them there for him. He's shopping for a second set of rims and tires that will be more street friendly.

Great trip to Bowling Green, had Jim Rizzuti as my guide(if you go I would request him as he is very knowledgable and knows most of the employees by name). I have been to the plant before and done the VIP tour with my family. The buyers tour was well worth the two days of my time. Besides seeing my car being built, I talked to a lot of plant employees(including my engine builder) as my car made its way along the line. They genuinely seem appreciative of people buying Corvettes. Picked up lots of small items i.e. stickers, build sheets along the way from the employees and my guide. There was a black Z06 Convertible, chrome rims, Kalahari interior, and A8 next to mine in the production sequence, going to Shaganappi, Calgary. Lots of Canadian cars on the line. As a bonus I got to sit in on the announcement of the new paint plant with all the employees. Now the hard part, waiting for delivery.
