HTC Rear window - Grease

Got mine HTC this Friday. Has anyone found grease on on the top of the rear window?

yes, my 2024's rear window was very dirty

Yes. Both mine came like that. I cleaned it off.

Yes. I left it as is. Gives the rear window character.

They all come like that as I believe that top strip that seals the window is treated with Dielectric lubricant to keep it soft and giving a proper seal for a long time.

Eventually if you keep that car you will want to treat all of the rubber with the dielectric grease to keep the rubber supple and seal around the glass properly.

yes, my 23 had it, quite a bit....Easy to clean off. Most likely from excess from the window regulator that has grease on it from the supplier...
