So nice to see the grille surrounding fish lips gone. Pictures thanks to Motor1.

Welcome. It's been a little lonely at this party ... first drink is on me @ddgermannI gotta say... as much as wanted to be knocked on my azz with this car; I’m not. It hopefully looks a whole lot better without that camo and have some seriously huge updates from the C7 as I’m not sure I’m in love at this point.
The hype that went into this car is astounding and GM better make it worthy of it or there might be trouble in paradise.
At this point I’m not wasting 10 minutes to get on a bidding list for this thing.
Time for GM to put out a proper teaser and show us the damn car already as I’m thinking people are getting tired of the hype. Ok obviously I am.![]()

Price Point will determine saleability. Saleability will determine wantability.....Enough people buy them, then more people will want them. Human nature. I want what you have....
Any car's performance is limited by the roads you travel. Haven't found one yet that will let me stretch my foot muscles. The best one I like is a double "S" curve going up hill. Better than going downhill as there is a stop at the bottom. Trouble is that it is rated a disheartening 60KPH. Still great feeling to pull a 100KPH going up.That said not everyone is a 55 year old child like me. You’re really right about the pricing on the C8 as many folks are responsible and practical thus won’t fork out for this car if it’s priced out of the park for the same performance you get in a C7.
We will see.![]()

So unless you track it I doubt we will ever see the full potential of our cars. Except for those who were/are lucky enough to go to Ron Fellows.
As to being a child like you Derek I think that most of us guys and probably some of the gals like to keep on feeling young. At my age though I am feeling closer to God so I might slack off on the pedal a bit. LOL
You finished your burger?I have had the car on a track and ya... the performance was felt and loved. ❤
Obviously the public roads are no place to test that as if the cops don’t get you the potholes will. Not to mention how irresponsible that is. Even for myself it’s a no go. I couldn’t manage knowing I wiped out someone.
But we derailed the thread Richard.
Ok I’m out. Let the real experts continue the topic.![]()
