GM increasing prices on Carbon Fiber as of May 1st

Prices raised on Carbon Fiber Accessories, Certain CF Options Now 3LT/3LZ Only
On Monday, the Corvette Order Guide’s distribution update shows that Chevrolet is now restricting the outside mirror covers in visible carbon fiber (LPO 5JR) only to those ordering a 3LT/3LZ trim package. The update also moves the Z06’s visible carbon fiber LT6 engine cover (LPO RXI) and visible carbon fiber engine cross brace (LPO SLN) to 3LZ only​

Denis, I also heard the 5VM Carbon Fiber ground effects package had increased by $5000 through parts this week.
It was mostly on constraint in 2023 but now getting it through parts is over $10K.

Totally agree .... I have never been a fan ... Especially with a torch red car I think the carbon flash suits it much better ... remember saying this in another thread quite some time ago and another member nearly ripped me a new one ....

IMHO for carbon fiber to work on the C8 ... every piece of carbon flash on the car should be replaced with carbon fiber ... not just a skirt or a high wing

Even then I'd still prefer the carbon flash ... JMO which is about as useful as a 3 dollar bill
