I just found these pictures that were from one of the vendors at the Corvette Musuem in BG last year. These are real carbon fiber wheel barrels with forged aluminum centers. If I remember correctly they had a price tag of $10k USD for a set of 4. I picked one of the rear rims up for a C7 Z06, they were amzingly light, you could pick them up with one finger. Not a cheap wheel, but the unsprung weight is unbelievable. This would be a great addition for all the carbon fiber addicted guys.

:crazyeyes1:

They definitely
have my attention.
Thx @turbozig

One of the things that really
grabbed me about not being
able to go to BG was for
being able to check out
any of the after-market
jewellery & performance ...
argh

I am very likely gonna
fly down next time and
meet everyone there
or perhaps find a similar
event for Corvette
after-market ideas.
It will be a thread question
that I will post when the time
comes that I can attend one.
Exotic Car Gear is teasing me
quite a bit now that I have
purchased a box full of
real CF from them.

Definitely sweet looking wheels Ziggy but trying to clean the barrels would drive me nuts, as I like my Carbon fibre as clean as the rest of the car 😂

Derek would they fit in your carry on luggage?
