Help Fitech Fuel Injection System

Hello fellow Vette owners. I have recently purchased Fitech Fuel Injection system for my 74 C3 which has a 454 engine. I have had no real luck in configuring out the relevant settings and in fact very little instructions come with it.
YouTube has helped out a bit but still having issues the main one being if I do a sharp slap on the accelerator, I have a lot of backfiring in the engine, but if I accelerate smoothly, all goes well.
Has anyone in the group used this system and perhaps can guide me on the settings to enter onto the controller screen. I would be very happy and grateful for any help or assistance.

Make sure you post in the C3 tech section. you could try a search first as I seem to remember someone having a similar situation but not totally sure anymore.
