I've wanted to dress up the engine for a while but the prices I've seen to have it done is honestly comical, not going to spend thousands for painted plastic . I found a local place that hydro dipped both covers and plenum for under $500 cdn. Very happy with the result.

I did something very similar to my C8 cover. I think I paid about $300 for it to be dipped in the GTA.

But then you have companies like Paragon that are selling real carbon covers for $425US. The value they deliver is insane.

Did something similar on my C7 a while back.
I was not a fan of the light grey Plenum Cover
so swapped it out with real cf ...
decided I was OK leaving the fuel rails as is.
