DIY Painted Intake Cover

Finished Red Mist, I had some time on my hands.

Did you remove the metallic looking parts and the emblem and then just re-glue them back on?

I used green tape to cover them, and painted the flag with the different colors.

Does the paint need to be heat resistant?

That looks simply amazing - where are you located - what would you charge to do another one? lol

Not sure about that but I guess I'll find out. I used acrylic paint.

I appreciate the compliment but I wouldn't want to chance damaging someone else property.

I do understand - makes sense - thought I could ask. I ordered with my new car that engine appearance package which gave me the carbon fiber trim and engine lighting.
what I might do now then is simply order something like this to dress it up - is it worth the 75 bucks likely not, but what is worth what they are asking for it today anyways ... lol
