Did GM stop the Speed Model?

Last time I went to the school, I flew to L.A. and drove from there. ( about 3 1/2 hours to Spring Mountain.)
Car rental was really cheap and flights were cheaper too.
As posted above the price of flights change all the time. But the bigger factor was the flight time. At that time the return flights from Vegas were all red eyes. The L.A. Flight was a morning departure.
Do your research and see what is available.

Last time I went was 2 or 3 years ago and we went with another couple from Corvette Club of Ontario. We flew into Vegas and spent two nights there first. Rented an SUV and drove down to the Hoover Dam and did a fascinating tour. Second day we drove to Spring Mountain in the afternoon and got settled in. Although the wives were experienced drivers of Corvettes they chose not to enroll in the program. However, they both sat in on most of the classes and got to do a couple of hot laps with the training staff and at no extra charge. We joined other couples and had a lovely dinner the second night at the nearby winery. Final day ends around 3:00 pm. We visited the swag shop that has some great although pricy, shirts etc. Very good quality things. I also bought the full photo package that comes on a thumb drive with close to 100 photos of the two track days with a good number of photos of you in your assigned car. Great memories and worth the price. They also give you a chip for the PDR in the car and you can record all your runs including your launch control episodes. We then drove back to Vegas in the rental car and dropped the car off at the off airport site and took an Uber back to the hotel. Next day we had a leisurely start and eventually took the hotel shuttle to the airport and flew back to Toronto. All in all a great couples adventure.

Having purchased a Stingray, which was subsequently traded in for my present E-Ray, I have had the option of going twice.
I did go on the first opportunity in February of 2025, and as everyone is stating, the 'experience' is well worth the trip.
Unfortunately, with the state of how things are in the U.S. right now, I refuse to cross the boarder.
Sad, really.

Well it worked contacted GM on chat line and they said they would notify me within 72 hrs. So this morning my speed model showed up from Fed. X after a 2 year wait. Not only that they gave me a Ron Fellows certificate dated 10/31/2025
Where did you go to connect on a chat line regarding your speed model? I have called and emailed the concierge a minimum of 6 times with no result other than to have them say that I am on the list.

If they tell you that you are on the list then you are on the list. Took me 2 years so be patient.

I am coming up on 2.5 years. Patience is running low seeing guys get theirs for their 24's. Not that it is the end of the world if I never get it. It would be nice to have it displayed in the garage.
