These are a 2 to 1 to 1 collector making it it a Tri Y , The LG's are a 4 into collector .

Wow! That is a fine set of curves.
Maybe you could give me some see-through body work so they will be visable from the outside?
Can a header ever be alluring?
Santa comes early to Dasilva Motorsports it would seem. He must really want that LS7 powered sled.

Darn Post Office has still not been forthcoming with any mail of relevance. You know, the kind with the "Pay to the Order of" in the window but hey, it is Christmas so we always live in hope.
Then again as Santa is bringing the Alky, maybe I'll be waiting until Ukrainian Christmas for more "gifts"!

No worries Garry , I have all the parts we talked about in stock anyway .
Plus I will be doing the muffler mod your Z to get you some more zip , and I will rework the shift knob and your mild to wild, so you can open and close the muffler right from the shifter
I don't think Garry will require a "mild" setting from the opinion I've formed from reading his posts. He needs a wild to ridiculous setting.

does the pfadt 3y design better than the lg design? what difference will it make on the performance?

The design is better in the way the system connects . Its uses turbo style flange clamps which do not leak . The Hp gain are very close in numbers . The Tri-Y is actually an older version of style of header . It worked very well in the past and is now back in the LS series engines . The fit and finish of the Pfadt's is very , very good .
judging by the pictures the primary tubes appear to be a fair bit longer than on a gen 1 small block. is my mind playing tricks ? my knowledge of these "new fangled" engines is pretty slim !

OK, now that sounds so cool! Being able to control the Mild to Wild from the gearshift? How exactly do you do this? I just told my son and he made a "ooooohhhhhhhhhh ing" noise.

I was thinking a great deal about the car recently but that will go to another post.........

Have a look at the other Z06 build , Titled Pauls 2010 Z06 . This build is almost identical to yours , and has all the info on the Z06 muffler mod we do.
The muffler flaps can be opened and closed via a small button on the gear shift knob .
My son is just giggling now.................as is his father oddly!
