These guys claim their scan tool ( OBD) can disable active fuel management.
Not positive if it will work on the C8 as I haven't dug that deep although it's interesting and maybe worth a look for those concerned about it and don't want to drive in manual mode for whatever reason :rolleyes: Just looked and Corvette isn't specifically listed under supported Chevrolet models although it may still work. But for anyone with a vehicle that stops and starts automatically at every intersection it might be worth a look as it can apparently disable that annoyance as well .

It works, with some limitations. I have one on my 2021 Stingray. The last time I checked, it only worked on 2020 - 2023 C8s, because GM changed the car's firmware in 2024. And it doesn't disable AFM until the coolant temp reaches 165F. But once it reaches that temp, my car never goes into 4 cyl mode.

My car is a US spec car. I imagine it would work in a Canada spec car, too, but can't verify that. The company seems very responsive, so reach out to them to verify.
