I talked to Debbie at the Partnership, and she is going to make "our" spot permanent. We won't have to get there at the crack of dawn and hold it for the others.

That is AWESOME! I won't have to get there at 5am anymore! The only thing I didn't like is when she told me two years ago that you can have a reserved spot but if someone parks there, they won't make them move?! I hope that's not true.
