waiting for 2016 C7
Hello Corvette Killas!

I found out today the Racing Shoes manufacturer, Piloti Shoes, now have official GM Merchandise shoes for Corvettes and Camaros. Piloti shoes are also the official driving shoes of the Ron Fellows Driving School in Nevada.

The Corvette shoes come in 2 special editions:
1. C7 Limited Edition (Black) -- C$155
2. C7 Racing Limited Edition - Jake (Black/Yellow) -- C$150

The best thing is these are actually cheaper to buy in Canada than in US straight from manufacturer website on Piloti.com. In US same shoes are priced for US$145 and US$135 respectively. With currency conversion its a steal to buy in Canada.

Another tip, use discount code "FREESHIP" for free Canadawide shipping. In cas if u need to exchange for a different size they also offer free return shipping labels which is pretty convenient. FYI they recommend that you order 1/2 size larger than your regular shoe size.

I hope you guys are as thrilled about these official Corvette shoes as I am. I ordered mine already. waiting for them to arrive sometime by next week hopefully.

Takecare,

Please let me know what you hear, if they reply. Budgets being tight until spring combining of last falls crop, yellow C6 or Z06 driving shoes would have to fall under the heading of "needs" and not "wants"!

An interesting solution...................

But things just changed for me on the farming front. My parents are renting out some of their land, no I didn't want it, yet, so overall it will still be reduction of about 33% of my workload I hope. I'm coming to the conclusion that I'm tired of seeing my spring disappear thanks to seeding and not being able to enjoy fall more thanks to harvest. I'm trying to get my priorities figured out too.

I'm almost temped to get the yellow shoes anyway, don't care for the little skull symbol or whatever it is but the right colour and at least the right car and Piloti are suppose top be highly regarded shoes.....................

Waiting for trucks to come and load peas from a bag in the field, maybe tomorrow and Thursday. If there are no surprises with the quality of the grain in the bag and the grade I may have to pigeon-hole some $ for this acquisition.

Spring may be arriving as well, -18 yesterday but -9 right now and in a few days consecutive days of +6 and +7! Oh bring it on! I'm so tired of ice. Might not take the Z06 out yet but the convertible I'd be able to drive now that the clutch is repaired.

An interesting read.

I'm thinking more about them. But I stopped when they said that they fit small. I have some Swedish winter running shoes(IceBug) with these 18 cool semi-retracting titanium spikes that are just awesome on icy roads. But they are hard to find in stores and also fit small, enough so that for my very wide feet (4E) it will compress my toes to the point where if I don't keep my nails trimmed they will rub, dig into the skin on the adjacent toe and bleed. I was lucky that 10 years or so when I went looking for some I found some in Edmonton but they had very few sizes so I did my best.

So fast forward 10 years and for the next pair of Icebugs I bought like a month ago I ended up going a full size larger and they seem to be OK. They don't make any different widths outside of D which is a pain.

So I am thinking that I'd have to give very careful thought first to the size..................the shoes do look cool, are available in yellow but I just want to be sure that the fit will be snug and not sloppy or vice-tight.

But no doubt I am weakening!!

Wow that didn't last long. Grain being shipping out tomorrow and I got cocky.

So I ordered a pair of the C7 Corvette Racing shoes. Same size as my new IceBugs.

Can't wait!!

Hey Graham,

They were nice enough to email to doubt check that I'd gone a 1/2 size larger than normal shoe size, which of course I had.

In the process mentioned that it was nice that they support the CCCCwf and also that the prompt to buy the shoes came from a thread on the CCF!

So I hope I covered all my bases.

Cheers,

Garry

Don't worry, I'll see if I can find a catwalk to model them on for you.

I am pretty excited though. now if I can just find someone to teach me heel/toe breaking I'll be in business.

I really like the C7 shoes, but I have really wide feet and wear a 4E, so getting shoes to fit is a pain. So unless I could try them on somewhere, I guess I'll have to pass. DAMN

Good choice, Piloti's are fairly tight (by design I suspect), depending on where you are you can potentially try them out as they occasionally do kiosks at events and various automotive venues.
