C6 dilemma. Disconnect the battery and the clock goes poof. Even GM cannot figure it out.

You are not alone.

Weird thing is that they all seemed to stop working around a particular date. Sculley and Mulder (sp?) are looking into to it.

Please let us know Tim. Yours would be the exception not the rule.

Best to you for sorting this out.

I heard that all of the sudden, clocks were working. There are a few on here that I think would concur ...

Something to do with either XM or GPS.
If I recall, someone just pulled out of their garage and .... bam ... it worked again (might be that the car just needs to be able to find the satellite)

I got the same issue, no clock! Replaced the battery in the car and ever since then no clock. Today July 25th still nothing.

Until this is resolved, anytime I need to disconnect the battery, i will use a memory saver in the aux outlet of the console, or in the cigar lighter port. I bought mine at CTC

Trouble is its GM engineers so after you re & re the transaxle and radiator your clock will still not work.

And they want electronics to steer and brake for us. Damn.

Hope you get some positive results soon. Don't think my C5 even has a clock!
