Good for him!!
~20 yrs ago during an event at Cayuga, I was walking thru the pit area with my two (young 9 & 5yr old) kids, and he stopped us, showed interest in the kids.....explained a couple things to them.....gave them each a baseball cap, then suddenly he jumped up and ran to a tool cabinet. He ran back, holding 2 pair of headphone ear protectors, one for each of my kids. About 2 seconds later, his car fired up (this was between passes, when they rebuild the engine).
He made our day.
Ummm, yeah, that's pretty quick. I remember back in the late 60's early 70's a fast car was in the 14's and a fast bike was in the 12's, dragsters were around 9 0r 10.
