So were talking about a 2025 Z06. Is it a soon to be discontinued colour or is ordering what you want an option. I always go colour first.Good day!
Need opinions please…
Would you choose your favorite color but with a 1lz trim? or a color you don’t mind with a 3lz trim?
Appreciate any help
Is there a Corvette dealer close enough to go have a look at both a 1LZ and a 3LZ to see the difference in person? Biggest difference between 1LZ or 2LZ and 3LZ is basically cosmetics in the interior. Other than than the price of course. And then there is this for what it's worth......Good day!

The 3LZ Corvette interior dash commonly suffers from leather delamination and bubbling issues. This affects C7 (2014-2019) and C8 models with the premium 3LZ/3LT leather-wrapped dashboard, where the leather peels, shrinks, or comes unglued, especially near vents, HUD, and stitching. Primary ProblemThe leather on the dash separates from the underlying substrate due to poor adhesive bonding with real leather, exacerbated by heat, UV exposure, and expansion/contraction cycles. Owners report it starting as bubbling or tightening, progressing to visible peeling, often within a few years even on low-mileage, garaged cars. This is widespread in 3LZ trims but rare in lower trims like 1LZ/2LZ without full leather dashes. Repair CostsFull dash replacement typically costs $2,300 to $5,050 out-of-warranty, involving dash removal (sometimes windshield extraction). GM may offer goodwill assistance post-warranty if contacted directly. DIY fixes using syringes of glue cost around $20 but are temporary and tricky in crevices. Prevention TipsGarage the car, apply ceramic windshield tint to block 99% UV/89% heat, and avoid direct sun exposure. Some C8 owners report fewer issues due to added stapling, but problems persist into 2026 models. For Canadian owners, check local GM dealers for any regional warranty extensions.
