I think Youtube has several videos on doing it.Has Anyone here done a cat back installation by yourself?
I am thinking, doing it, but I have been told to have it done!

Yes I have seen a couple, but they do not show everything . I read it takes at least 5 hours to do this job. The longest I have seen is 45 minutes, so something is missing.I think You tube has several videos on doing it.
Thanks I will.I have taken off the rear Bumper x 2. 1st time, to install a Speedtail spoiler and 2nd time to install a AWE Catback touring exhaust ( no Drone)
If you have the right tools , is very straight forward. Check out the AWE videos
Uxbridge is just a short several hours from Montreal!Taken the bumper out and the rear trunk , not bad, but installing the cat without a lift![]()
My hoist of course. What is in Uxbridge?

Ok, so when the weather gets warmer and I have my cat, I will give you a buzz. 10 times , wow. I bought a Corsa 21100 because it works with all our original buttons/system/4 ways, like the oem. Just needs to re update the computer , sometimes. Thanks for the help. Good to know about no lift necessary.I have had my rear end off no less than 10 times (for various mods) One of those being installing the Borla S-Type cat back ..
Fire away, happy to answer any questions you might have.
I did not use a lift, FYI. I didnt find it too bad. Just take your time.
Do yourself a favor and get a set of these also. I would NOT install a new Cat Back without them. The originals damage easily and they are a bugger to fit old used ones back on tight. Save yourself the frustration and spend it upfront.Ok, so when the weather gets warmer and I have my cat, I will give you a buzz. 10 times , wow. Ok when I receive the cat, I will verify if they are included, if not will buy for sure. Thanks again. Just called Corsa and you are right , not included , so will buy, in case I damage the original.Do yourself a favor and get a set of these also. I would NOT install a new Cat Back without them. Well, I will try it but I wonder if you get it done if they give you a warranty?
Here is a question, does the oem heat shield, fit the new cat backs? All videos I have seen show no shield!Do yourself a favor and get a set of these also.
