Not familiar with shops on the coast but Davenport in Calgary has a pretty good reputation.

if you are located in the Lower Mainland then RACING GREED in Coquitlam would be where most of the Corvette boys go for race engine builds .
you could also try C&P CARS in South Delta. They are a great place.
