C8 Z06 Bathurst Limited Edition

Lol. More than once . But thats the nice thing about driving Sims , just hit reset . And you don't have to worry about .08 . Managed a 2:14 but sober . And that was countless laps to get that one . It is a lot of fun and you can have a pretty good setup for not a ton of money although the sky's the limit depending on budget. Full motion platforms can run 10's if not hundreds of thousands but for about $3,000 you can have a really good experience with a direct drive wheel , load cell pedals and a decent chassis.
Have you install that BD DCT bracket yet? Stop playing on the computer.
Lol..

Might hold off a bit on that . -35 last night although it's warmed up to-34 this morning. Calling for-41 with-50 wind chill the next couple of nights. :cold: Car is in unheared storage. Going to have it installed when I get the exhaust done in May .

Sorry about that....... ;) about 36 when I got up at 9 or so . 40 last night but 44 the night before. I know it's not a contest but if it were we would like to be losing. At least the wind chill is only-50 over night. But the big pot of chili I made froze in a hurry.

I meant by posting a colder temp.....myself that is . There was one spot just north east of us that was -48 ambient couple days ago. No thanks. The cold is getting old kinda like my tolerance of it . You folks go from 15 above to-40 in a matter of hours, no snow to a foot in a half in a day . At least its if nothing else fairly consistent here . Not sure which I would prefer. Stay warm !

Actually we are pretty lucky around Red Deer. We really seldom see a -35 ambient and our cold snaps typically only last a short time and we've only been getting 2 or 3 of those each season these last few years. -20 to mid -30's are getting rarer and rarer. We get the edge of the chinooks so when southern Alberta is +20 we are about +10. And in 46 years here, I have only seen 2 feet of snow in one storm once back in 86. Northern AB gets a lot more snow than we do. I know friends in High Prairie that are living with 3 and 4 feet of snow this year. If we didn't get the wind, I'd be happier... Would I like milder winters all season long...Sure. But now in retirement, on the cold days, I'm happy to kick back in the house some, tinker in my shop some and not have to spend hours out in the cold or drive anywhere when the roads are nasty. Being on the farm is nice too as we don't feel as cooped up on the cold days as I would in the city and we don't need to grocery shop every few days...
