C8 transmission noise

So disappointing but it’s in the shop at 959km and waiting for GM response. Initial reply is likely transmission. Got the car in September 2025 and the car started making “noises” around 200km that sounded like a squealing bushing so I took it in to Cullen’s and they had no idea so said to drive it more and see if it goes away - it didn’t. I’m attaching a video (if it works) of the start up in October 2025. Anybody else have anything similar happen to them?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you're having DCT issues. We have had other C8 transmission issues reported here over the years ranging from control modules, leaks, right up to complete transmission failures. Luckily for you it is still under warranty as the repair costs can be astronomical. A total failure is reputed to be in the $25,000.00 range with repairs alone that can exceed $10,000.00 due to the complexity of that transmission. Let us know how it turns out for you.

That's my vote.
Sounds like that transmission needs a new flux capacitor.
Just in case the issue turns out to be something else, please keep us posted. I am soon going to change the fluid on mine, no issues so far at the three year mark.

I'm approaching 6 years. No issues. The ops issue is very unfortunate but not common. Let's hope it's an easy fix.

Sounds a lot like a idealer issue. I have 20K on my 24 Eray. Now I have a slight oil leak which has been noted by the dealer and will be fixed the next time I bring it in. However it will take 4 to 5 days.
