C8 tire pressure

I should add that on the highway on the way home I reached over to 210 so doesn't that justify my 190 kPa cold
No, Michelin knows the temps they rise to which is why tire pressures are always told in cold temp numbers. Optimum tire pressures are when the tire gets warm. That's why race cars are set low when cold. The pressure rises when the tire heats up.

But I can tell you I had a Bentley GT speed but you can't always o by what the door 2017 and the door said 49 PSI front 46 rear and that's what I did for years and then I finally read the manual and it said that was maximum comfort pressure was 44 and 41 which I switched to not sure the relevance of that just suggesting the door isn't always right

The C8 is not a bentley. Lower tire pressures may result in a softer ride but you will lose in MPG as there is more rolling resistance. You may also lose in performance. To me it makes little difference. I use the recommended settings. Otherwise OnStar bugs me about the pressures.

I appreciate that however nobody's telling me whether they're still running run-flat tires running flat tires at high pressure do not give a good ride somebody earlier said it was 32 lb all around and that's what I thought it was when I read the sticker but I must have been seen double at the time cuz now it says 30 maybe tomorrow morning it'll say 28th

Mine go from 210 to sometimes 235 depending on how I’m driving and I don’t notice any difference. The mag ride might be making a difference but who knows. Inflate them to 210 and don’t worry about it. The only way to keep them at 210/32 is to leave it parked.

Yes however one of my guys told me to keep it 2 lb less cold because it will reach 210 quickly hot if you start at 2:10 who knows how high you'll go with with run-flat tires the ride is not good I believe I read that are a thread somewhere that the ride was terrible above 220 with run-flat

It's 210/30. Jesus Christ this Thread isn't relevant, from the Thread Starter to his cousin on the West Coast...

Woops . To split hairs it’s actually 30.46 but only until the sun goes behind a cloud. Like you have succinctly pointed out before it’s time for everyone to go out and play , lol.

There's nothing wrong with guys from the West coast some of them are intelligent I admit not many but look I've had cars over the last 20 years 2 9 11s to Aston db11 one Aston Vanquish an SLR McLaren and SLS AMG and two different Bentley GT speeds so I know what I'm talking about either way I'm not insulted cuz the weather here is nice all year round don't know where you are but it can't be better the cost of the European cars 6 months ago I had a db11 and a Bentley in the garage and the insurance was crazy $5,000 for a tail light on the db11 for just for example so I thought to myself I'm going to buy American this time no more $3,000 oil changes $8,000 oil change on the SLR so you see us West coast guys learn it just cost us a lot of money to get smart

Do you still have the DB11 ? One of my dream cars. I would even take one with no taillights, lol. Overall how would you rate the C8 compared to the others you have had ?

Haven't really spend enough time in the ca to compare however the db11 was very comfortable on the highway as comfortable as the Bentley you know the $5,000 tail light I was lucky it was covered under the first 3-year warranty but that's not the problem you know it was July I believe when they ordered the new one from England it took 3 weeks and when it showed up it was yellow not red I don't know who has yellow brake lights but I guess somebody does so they sent it back to England reordered the red one suffice it to say I lost almost the entire summer waiting for that one stupid part otherwise mine had the v12 5.2 l and I drove it to Toronto I also drove it down to Arizona from Vancouver with absolutely no problem it is a fantastic vehicle even the 2017 launch edition which I bought right off the floor so have the dealer never had any problems it's the older version before 2017 you have to be careful of the engine light loves to come on for no reason and you have to take it down to Aston and in Vancouver it's a pain in the ass to go there so overall since the Aston was 3.5 seconds to 100 km and this car is 2.8 I think I'm not complaining and the ride is nice and that you get the same attention all I ever got in the Aston was what kind of car is this and even when I said nobody heard of it I had to say it's what 007 drives then they got it kind of funny but if the Aston cost the same as the vet I would keep it
