The speed shape model doesn't come direct from GM, but rather a marketing company hired by GM. Wait times to get one vary, but it took almost 2 years for my 2020 to arrive and I know of someone who waited just over 2 years for his. Those are the longest times I know of. It seems slower for Canadians, compared to people in the States. If you change your address after buying your C8, make sure and notify GM, so the speed shape model finds its way to you. My best advice is to be patient and focus on the real thing (having fun with your C8) rather than worry about the speed shape model, which will eventually arrive. There have been several threads on these Forums about this.

Might want to check on that Thom . My wife got her car March of 2022 and the model came in November 2022 . Since we are basically around the corner from you , you would think yours should have come as well last year.
I have tried. But GM is no help and I can’t find a way to contact the 3rd party that sends them out.
Have you asked George? He likely can't help much, but it never hurts to ask.

Nobody really knows. A man of mystery and intrigue. With ninja skills he was able to get a C8 in mere months through his contacts. He is above mere mortals who languish on lists for years.
Got on the list in March of 2020 ... got my allocation in April of 2021 ... took delivery on July 28th 2021... got the model 1 year after taking delivery.
I definitely do waiting lists .
