C8 HIGH WING SPOILER

I didn't see the bill I had thought I heard $950. I paid dealer cost for my car so I know I got a good deal.
 
my C7 was similarly equipped and all those options totaled about $15k MSRP, this time around options were over $30k MSRP. GM pushing the price of that car well over a hundred with options.
 
If you order the car the way you want, the dealer will install the spoiler and risk chance of a scratch that they can repair.
GM does strange things on the order forms. When I ordered my C7 I wanted the carbon flash package, but didn't want the black mirrors (ok my wife didn't) I had to split the package and order the carbon flash spoiler and stinger hood separately.
 
Love the new tail lights. If you want C6 tail lights, own a C6, If you like the C7 tail lights, own one and love it. If you don't like the C8 because of the tail lights when the car is stunning in every colour don't. I had the opportunity to see and sit in all the C8's (except yellow and orange) and they are beautiful.
My grandfather love his wooden wheels on his wagon. He said they were the best and nothing could replace them. Maybe he didn't see the new ones. Just saying

Best to order one now. The current price will be locked-in. When the price goes up, you'll be able to sell it at a profit!
 
yeah I picked my options over the phone but remember $950 dealer cost for the high wing spoiler. $450 seems way too low. now I haven't seen my printout yet so cant confirm but the higher price seems right.

The body-colour wing is $450. The carbon-flash-painted wing is $670 and requires an additional LPO to be ordered. No one knows why.

ahhhhhh. ok. Thanks. I probably should have waited to see what ACS Composites will have. they have two on order and will start producing parts shortly after they get theirs. oh well I like the look of that high wing so all good. I saw a rendering of a concept C8 Z06 with a high hoop wing. that design looks very nice and I'm sure will be copied for aftermarket

First off, there are two different types of options for the C8 Corvette. There are the Regular Production Options and there are the Limited Production Options. The Regular Production Options are things that are installed at the factory. This means they’ll be on the car once it rolls off the assembly line. The Limited Production Options are things that are installed at the dealership level.

LPO= Limited Production Options
 
some designed c6 taillights for the C7 shortly after that car came out. lots of guys said they were going to move to them. I pointed out that they didn't have the air dams/ports in them and that's a concern. Cant leave behind function for looks. I've yet to see a C7 with the round taillights. I think it's an argument that dies out once the car finally arrives and is seen regularly.
 
I like them. On the C7 the car came with a cheap plastic guard that just barely protected the panels edge and offered no protection to the face of the panel. I bought the ACS aftermarket ones in Carbon Flash and they look good and match the carbon flash on the car.

I asked my dealership about that as you had brought the question of price of this up and I was told by sales and the finance guy once its on the order and your order shows Retail-Sold its locked in at that price.
