I just read on your forum a message from a Corvette C7 owner who has engine failure at 45,000 KM. He had similar repairs done to his C7 as I did:
new torque tube, new torque converter, and new starter. I wanted to post this message for him, but your forum was not taking additional messages.
My car is running with 17,000 miles on it. Currently, I live in Cleveland, OH, but used to drive to your beautiful Niagara Falls and Toronto frequently.
I have read and studied extensively about these LT1 and LT4 engines. I don't know the longevity of my engine because the torque tube can move forward towards the engine and damage the thrust bearing. I don't have symptoms of engine failure but could be on my way. A lawyer contacted me 2 years ago and I got $8,000 USD for my grief and inconvenience after the aformentioned repairs were done. I would willing to share the law company's name if I can. He is now in Cleveland, OH, but I'm sure he has affiliates abroad.
