Have any members done the ZR1 style front splitter or side skirt upgrade to their ZO6? Wondering if would hamper drivability.

My 13 Z06 came with the ZR1 splitter and side skirts on it. It was fine to drive. Just have to be a bit more careful parking and doing speed bumps due to them being low to the ground. The skirts are easy to step over and you will be used to it quickly. I say put them on. They look great.

I loved that car. I’m told it was picked up a week after I traded it with 8900kms on it. A fellow from Calgary bought it just for the track.
I expect it is serving him well as it was flawless.

My ZR1 came with so not sure it make a difference or not, just want to tell you that in aftermarket you can get the side skirts in original size or 1 inch wider and most supplier will include the rear slpash guard (the one in front of rear wheel). Available in fiber glass (to be painted) or carbon fiber.
As stated by ddgermann, take care of speed bump and curbs. Ask me how I know!!!! I replace all the lower carbon fiber parts by after market AFTER I broke the right skirt, very easy to hit parking curbs after being parked for a while.

Thanks to all of you for your input! I will send some pics once I get them on! Won't be for a while though since I am in Arizona for another month. I will probably order down here to save some freight and customs charges!

You are close to C7 Carbon (California) You should be able to get them while you are there and benefit sale tax exemption.
