Talk about a while...mine needed clutch and flywheel...7 weeks. Not at Race ready but a local shop in Barrie. Just sayin, best be patient, its seem like the supply chain is still broken.Race ready garage in Cambridge is good. Very busy shop though, could take a while to get your car in.
For my Corvette, I have used Hainer's in St. Catharines 905-934-2331. Tim Conway is a long time member of the Niagara Corvette club and a mechanic there. He has worked on my vette (harmonic Balancer replacement) and probably hundreds of vettes over the years. As for my torque tube, I plan to get it done later this falls because I know that it will be expensive (I am expected 4K to 5K to get it done). Right now, I don't drive my corvette more than 1/2 hour from home until I get the torque tube rebuilt. Keep in mind that he has never done a torque tube rebuilt yet but looks forward to doing mine, it's not as common issue as I though.Did you ever find a good shop to rebuild the torque tube? I am in Grimsby and need to find one.
Practice hopefully will make perfect. We wish you luck with it ! Please keep us posted as to how it goes.
