C6 convertible power top not working

Hello fellow C6 convertible owners! On this beautiful sunny day my power top won’t go down, can anyone help diagnose? Here is what’s happening:
-car is running in neutral with parking brake engaged
-DIC displays Top Not Secure without touching anything and yet the top is securely closed
-I turn release latch and windows do not go down
-DIC then reads Attach Trunk Partition which is in fact attached securely
-trunk release button also not working
-I have disconnected battery and indexed the windows and the display continues to read the two messages
-I located the limit switch on the top of the windshield on the drivers side and sprayed it with electrical conducive spray and wiggled it to loosen it
-and of course everything worked fine yesterday

Just a shot in the dark but try resetting the DIC and clearing each of the codes the codes.
