Yeah, so any suggestion on how to get it back in?

I have tried different tranny angles, prying on diff and tranny and even brute force. I am really resisting "trimming" the beam because I had it out and back in once already with out doing so.......I just can't remember for the life of me how I did it
Almost to the point of blowin up the garage lol

Good advice from Graham 86. It is truly weird that you have had the crossmember out before but it will not go back in now.

Any other changes to the underside?

How frustrating! We need to C4 guys on here to help you out! I wish you the best of luck getting it back in and wish I could help with some real advise.

The only advise I could find. "Ended up going trans first and used a 2x4 to pry on the diff until it got to where we could slide it around."

Nothing has changed underneath....
Yeah I have been trying the pry method on the diff just can't move it enough.....
Will keep on getting frustrated till it goes lol

Friiiiick. That sounds like an absolute headache. Here's hoping you'll get it popped in or find a good method so if anyone else does this in the future, there'll be some good help.

in the future, for the 700r4, it goes backwards onto the diff, then forward onto the tailshaft housing.

use a rubber mallet with a small piece of 2x4 about 6-10 inches along.
