Bit of Tunnel Fun in the Angeles Mountains, LA

Thanks....gotta say the XPEL did great as well....We'll meet up sometime I'm sure although I have to say it.... Driving through Saskatewan was an EXPERIENCE. We took the old Northern way and boy did I learn... NO PREMIUM. We actually stopped for gas in a town that had a big gas sign... Viscount I think....the only gas pump was strapped to a propane tank. That was hillarious. You can see it in the distance in this pik...

Hahaha! Yah, I learned, well, not the hard way as the Corvette doesn't really care, but not all stations have premium (Clavet is one that comes to mind). I never have driven much of #16 and most people choose to just go through Regina to get to Winnipeg from Saskatoon. A much, much different drive after being in the mountains, isn't it? In the mountains, I noticed you were always doing something, steering, braking, accelerating, watching for rocks, looking at the scenery, looking for opportunities to pass the slow cars. The driving is quite involved. When we came out from Crows Nest Pass and got into the prairies, I basically set the cruise and went to sleep. :D Not nearly as much involvement required on the long, straight roads, which was actually kind of nice after all the mountain twisties.
