belt noise

Hi everyone;
can't wait to get my Vette out from winter hibernation.

I do have a question regarding that dreaded surpentine belt noise
that c5 and C6 Vettes have.

I have a 2005 and ordered what I thought was the correct goodyear
belt, bout when I got it,... it looks skinnier than the one in there now, and smaller.
The part # for the new belt is goodyear #4040410 according to various forums.
My question is, has anyone here put a goodyear gatorbelt in a C6 Vette
have I got the correct one?

Your car have 2 belts. The part # you have 4040410 is for the a/c, the main drive belt #, in the goodyear catalog, is 4060798. 4040410 mean 4 ribs width and 41 inch long inside diameter. The 4060798 is 6 ribs width and 79.8 inch long.
