I’m guessing this is a Yak of some model. Either way though. Something I’d love to fly.

Many years ago, a guy here in Omemee had a shed full of crated up new WWII airplane engines. Someone came in bought them all. It was probably like the motherlode to the guy doing the buying.
 
Another one the NCRS apparently really liked....Heritage Award? I don't follow the NCRS so I am not sure exactly when these types of Corvettes started to be judged. Pretty cool and apparently turned a lot of heads when they fired it up to check operational features on the car...

Mike, I believe that the tape on the headlights was to contain the glass if they were broken by a rock or something else during the day. The tape would have been removed if they were racing into the night.
