Do they come in Carbon Fiber?

Looking around and found this one at Crappy Tire if you haven’t seen it already. Five year warranty and five year roadside assistance. Says it’s for the C8 . I have always gotten good performance from their batteries. Reasonable price as well and AGM . The link works.

I did my homework on that specific Everstart … I would never randomly by something based on price alone.

For what it’s worth …. Many Corvette owners (including Z06/ZR1 owners) speak highly of the brand and the battery. Data available if you do some research

The CT one cost more but if they are of equal quality, I am buying Canadian which most likely be made in US or from the same place.

According to AI, Canadian Tire is manufactured by East Penn Manufacturing in the USA and for Wal-Mart as well along with Exide and Clarion ( formally Johnson Controls).

So the Canadian Tire Duralast may share the same dna as the Walmart one?

I believe this to be true … not a lot of manufacturers any longer. I heard 3 for the bulk of batteries made

But do the other ones come with 5 years no start road side assistance ? CT used to do that but seemed to have stopped offering it. Good to see it back. I have used the service in the past. One time in particular at -40 I had left my truck uptown after pool league and several beverages. Called the service number said my truck wouldn’t start and they sent their local shop with a tow truck and brought my vehicle to my driveway. They had offered to take it into their garage to warm it but I said just bring it here and they did ! Awesome….

I’ll take a Walmart open 7 days a week, likely nearby and I can swap it out myself … worst car scenario:

Hope it never comes to that , but 1000% comfortable with my purchase and will maintain properly the best I can.

Well of course not but a vehicle can fail to start at some point regardless of what retailers battery is in it….under the warranty, road side assistance , they will just bring you a battery if you request that.

No. It’s included with the battery purchase…. Tend to consider as much as I can making most purchases. Don’t mind doing a bit of research. And , we can’t get AAA here so that makes it more attractive.
