My dad was a car guy. He had a 63 Chev SS, 66 Ford 7 litre (428) vert, 69 GTO vert, 70 Gt0 judge 4 speed, 73 and 76 Olds torando, 76 Caprice wagon with a 454 in it, 82 Vette and 90 Porsche 928, and he almost bought a Ford GT 40. These are just the muscle cars.
As he is in very bad shape , in hospital since May 24th.(diabeties) We can still talk about the cars when he is having a good day.
My wife who grew up in Eastern Ont , whose parents never owned a car, gets a chuckle when we are watching Barrett Jackson and I say "we had one of those".
I guess I am lucky to have these memories.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Enjoy him while you still can. You're both in our prayers.

Your Dad had a fine bevvy of cars and some real muscle......You must enjoy talking about that era with him.
I'd give anything to still have my Dad to chat with -- I miss him a lot.
