My friend has an 08 with automatic. The shifter is sticking in park. Any ideas, he is pretty much frustrated and ready to sell the car. He was mentioning something about a little plastic pin that was maybe the culprit. Should he attempt this repair himself or try a shop? I don't recall reading about this issue with the automatics before and tried searching past posts for it but couldn't find any mention of this.

Google it...or look at the american forum. It's a very easy diy fix.
