So I wanted to stop the auto headlights on my 2003 z06 and I did alot of reading about fuse #44 in the passenger side footwell. Anybody else try this ? I just pulled it out and will test it later on this evening

You mean you want to stop the pop up headlight when you start your car ? If that what mean just go to option and turn off Twilight- off .if that doesn't work than try to remove Micro Relay #44 ..if this car Canadian it will be very heard to do that or you must to do bypass for this .. be careful with electronic and wires in this car ..

Yes but canadian cars I heard dont have that option. Everytime I start the car in the garage the lights pop up then when i get home and pull into the garage they come up again. I want to stop that from happening
I add some info you see it ?
In DIC you see option press that until you see Twilight- turn it off...

They can be turned off in the computer. Mine were, never had a problem. Contact Dave @RaceReadyGarage.

I pulled fuse 44 last week...no more automatic pop up headlights. If I want them on now, I turn the switch on.

Im in barrie on he is to far away. The #44 fuse seems to be a easy way of stopping them without messing anything else up i hope lol
We have been around this block a few times here. I pulled relay 44 in the passenger footwell. Works great. You don't want the headlights coming on and popping up every time you go into the dark garage. The gears are gonna wear out soon enough. But now you have to remember to turn your headlights on at dusk. Canadian cars can't turn the Twilight Sentinel off on the DIC.
Mines a ‘02 and a Canadian car and I pulled the #44 fuse and it did the job fine , no problems. I tried everything on the twilight thing and couldn’t do it. Pull the 44.
I had an 03 C5 and the the lights popping up and down all the time (in and out of well lit garage) drove me crazy: researched it and the only solution was to install something or other - sorry, can't remember what it was; but, was a switch/bypass or something? In any case, for some reason, I did not bother? Sorry, for my vague response to your query. Good luck!
