Ask a question - Live search

Small little feature for CCF members and soon to be members.

Ask a question is now a new featurette in the navigation menu. Essentially start typing things you want to search and it will in real-time start showing you results. So mostly a live search at the moment.

Soon as I get the proper Q&A functionality going it will be more integrated. Right now it's a sort of a quicker search for someone wanting to glance over a specific topic.

Need to type in more than 4 characters and not a common word like 'and' 'about' for it to work.

I like it a lot that one doesn't need exact words or phrases to find something.

It's getting there Colin, actually need to do more work on it for stemming organization etc. but it's coming along.

Very slick Nik. As a user ...and abuser of technology, It never fails to amaze me what a real techie is capable of.... not quite reading my mind but for sure the next best thing...

Thanks Eric. Will have more 'live' features very soon including live updates on forum activity (without manual refreshes) for those of you suffering from homepageinitis i.e. leaving home page open all day.

hahaha.... unfortunately I still work for a living... have to pay for toys somehow....homepageinitis would be a bad thing for me as I'd be surfing CCF and never get anything done.... for now it's evenings only.... mostly.... haha....
